12/23 This week starts the two week run block. Key workouts for PHX marathon.

The start times are a little more relaxed since it is the holiday. If you need to start earlier for whatever reason we can adjust the times.

  • Monday -- 2.5 hr canal/trail run, meet at Thomas/Recker at 5:30am
  • Tuesday -- Merry Christmas -- Rest
  • Wednesday -- Big loop, 6am, 6,5,4,3,2,1 ladder
  • Thursday -- Big loop, 5:30 am, Z1/2 aerobic, no intervals
  • Friday -- Walmart run 5:30 am, Marathon specific, 13 miles with 9 miles at marathon pace.
  • Saturday -- very easy 1-1.5 hr run. 5:30am
(rick) I'd like to add 4-7 miles tomorrow at the end of the Big Loop. Join me if intetested.
