With 8 weeks till Boston and 9 till IMSG 70.3, here’s the standard schedule till otherwise noted:
John, some others and I want to start adding a Monday recovery run to prep for Boston. Tomorrow will be only 5 miles given recovery from the Phx Marathon (we want to hear some race reports on the trail), increasing in the future as we build. We also will do some McDowell or VV hill repeats on Tuesdays, which help with Boston and SG hills, plus leg strength.
M 6 am 5 mile recovery run. Greg, Tory, Denton and maybe I (for part) will do 5:30 am sharp from VV/McDowell bike ride
T 5:15 am at the gate, run a reverse Scoresby to McDowell and then hill repeats (or some weeks run the canal north of McDowell to VV) and do hill repeats
W rest or 5:30 am sharp from VV/McDowell bike ride
Th 5:15 am Big Loop
F 5:30 am sharp from VV/McDowell bike ride
Sat long runs increasing from 15/16,17/18,20,22 miles. Time TBA
